Tracking Challenge Day 1

Happy Monday Friends!!!

Today was a good day.  Mentally I am in a good place starting this new challenge, so that just helps put me in such a good mood!  I went to the gym this morning with my sister, then we met a friend at McDonald's to catch up over coffee :)  There is nothing better than girl talk over coffee.  After 2 hours though, we were getting sketchy looks from the employees like "don't you ladies have anything better to do?":)

Since I am beginning again, so to speak, I thought I'd weigh in and show you all the damage I have done.  I did lose some during my last challenge, but gain that back.  I swear I gain weight by looking at food!  Anyway, I didn't realize how much I'd gained until this morning......

This is pretty sad and really embarrassing.  I am supposed to be "Finding Lori", and this just isn't me.  I was hesitant to post this but hey, this is why I am here!

Anyway, there it is.  I am giving myself 2 weeks of seriously tracking.  I am not going to weigh in until the 2 weeks are up.  Greg and I talked it over and he suggested something fun for the beach, since, you know our pool is gone now, and I've been talking about going to the beach a lot more.  (Lake Erie is only less than 5 miles from my house)  I've decided that I will buy an new beach bag, and a huge soft beach towel for my  reward!!  Also, I am not shopping until my 2 weeks are over, and that will make it all the more fun, because shopping is a reward in itself!!

xoxo

pick yourself up,
dust yourself off, and start all over again."

  1. Tracking is so helpful. Sometimes when I've eaten something I don't feel good about and don't want to track my food- I do it anyways and realize I didn't do as badly as I thought. 2 weeks is a long time to go without shopping. Lol I love to shop. It will be all the more fun when you meet your goal!
